Bachelor Party Planning – Adventure Activities

Some groups are looking for something more adventurous or thrill seeking. If your groom is one that likes activities that are higher in adrenaline, here are some suggestions for planning the bachelor party adventure that everyone will be talking about for years to come.

1. Hiking / Mountain Climbing

The US (and around the world) has so many mountain ranges that are perfect for those that enjoy hiking. As a group you can plan a day trip to hike a trail that will give you a view, yet is still challenging. Or you can plan a multi day camping trip to try and summit something higher. For those even more skilled, you can incorporate a mountain that includes climbing to get to the top. Whatever you choose for the group, you can always find something that fits all levels.

2. ATVing / UTVing

Driving in the city and driving off road is very different. If you want an adventure and you’ve never explored off road this could be an activity to consider. You can find destinations where there are rugged natural terrain to explore or you can look at sand dunes for the ride. Either way you’ll have an adventure that will test your abilities and for sure serve up some adrenaline. There are off road trails that are in forest and meadow areas or in the desert, either way it’ll be an experience you’ll never forget.

3. Skydiving

The ultimate adrenaline rush! This will not be an activity for the faint of heart. If you and your group are ultimate adventure seekers this could be one to add to the list.

4. Supercar Driving

For those that want to test out the power of super cars, there are now experiences to rent them and drive on an enclosed track. If the groom is into luxury and loves driving this could be a fun experience for everyone. Go and take your dream cars for a spin.

5. Paintballing

A little bit of competition is great for group bonding. For groups that want an activity that is active but also an element of adrenaline this would be the perfect. You can be easy going or rent out the entire terrain and have a high competition between you and your friends, anything goes!

Final Thoughts

Adventure activities may not be on the top of everyone’s list, but there are different ways to seek adventure without necessarily being in harms way. The bachelor party is all about celebrating the groom-to-be, take his lead on what kind of adventure he wants and you will be fine.
